Call me Jonah. My parents did, or nearly did. They called me John.

I called, like, a lot of people, ... I called my parents and all my friends. Then I had to call them all back.

To say how close John and dad were, I'd call him after meets - all the way up till the end. We discussed how things went and I said, 'Dad, now who am I going to call.' Without hesitation he said you'll call John. That's how close that bond was and he thought of John and John thought of him.

I've read about myself and my husband and my family, to the point where they've called my parents, they've called my brothers, offering money to tell stories. They call friends of mine. I'd just like for them to just ... don't badger us. Don't scrutinize us. We have children and they have to live, too. It's not fair.

We always tease him about it. We called Jon 'Red' and we call him 'Little Red.' He pitches just like (Walker), so hopefully he'll get to that point where John was.
