en He said he was happy I would be part of the family and that he can't wait for the No. 1 recruiting class to come up so we can start our path to a national championship. It's good to know people consider us the No. 1 (class) in the country, but it doesn't mean anything if we don't prove it on the field.

en You don't realize how big it is until it happens. You realize you're with the Yankees and everything that goes with it. You see all the guys who have been here in the past, and when you travel around you start to realize how many people the Yankees impact.

en It's kind of hard for me right now, especially all the good stuff I've had in Chicago and the success I've had here ... but the Yankees are the Yankees, ... It's a big shock for me. Right now, it's sadness. But I'll look forward to excitement in New York.

en It sure feels good. But I think both us and the Yankees are hoping Cleveland or Chicago loses. We know those teams deserve to be in it. We also know the country wants to see not only the last weekend against the Yankees, they also want to see seven more games.
