en I still think everybody in the division has a chance to win it, with maybe Colorado the exception because they're looking to rebuild. The Dodgers are hanging around, the Diamondbacks are a good team and I'm so used to the Giants winning 90 or more games I can't picture them ever being out of it. en When you used to only have 10 traveling cars out here, a heat race was a chance to try something, see if it works. It's not like that anymore. You have to qualify. It's all or nothing there. You have to get out of your heat race, so it's all or nothing there. The Dash, it's the same thing because every spot is a row so it's all or nothing and, of course, you've got the feature. There is never a chance to relax, or a chance to be off one bit. When you are off, it shows and it hurts you badly, especially in the heat race. You just got to be good all night long. You have to stay focused all night, every night, all year.

en I feel great about winning the division, but let's celebrate when (it happens). Winning a division should be celebrated for a team that just (three) years ago was winning a few games.

en We think this gives us a heck of a chance to win a title. We have to finish off the Pacific Division. We need to get on a roll.

en They're going to do everything they can to stay alive as long as they can. But they do that all the time anyway. We're just trying to stay in character. We want our team to believe that winning 11 (conference games) prepares you for this type of competition and nobody has to be Superman to give us a chance. We just all have to play our roles well.

en This has been one of the most difficult seasons I've had. At the same time, we've gotten through it as a team and we've given ourselves another chance at winning the Division III state championship.

en Even with a win, we're not safe yet. But with a win it really would give us a chance to (think) about winning the division title in addition to making the playoffs.

en It's hard to get in the position we were in, a chance to clinch the division, the winning record that we had and everything we've accomplished. And to come down here and not take advantage of that, it's inexcusable.

en It's a case of starting over. When you get a second chance, you just try to take advantage of it. We could be 10 games above where we are.
