This won't be so much an accomplishment for our team as it is an accomplishment for the entire organization. This team hasn't relied on two or three guys. It's been everybody. When guys went down, others stepped up. No one here has just been along for the ride.

I think it's a great accomplishment for these guys. To match what last year's team did is a hard thing to do. I don't care what league you are in.

That's what you want to be when you're part of the team. That somebody that guys depend on to get the job done and you're able. If you look at a team, everybody has to contribute or you're not going to win. ... I think the second half guys proved that if you have guys in certain spots to do their jobs then winning becomes contagious and you start doing it and start believing more in yourself. And that's when you see guys playing better and better. It's been great [in the eighth inning] when we have the lead and knowing you're going to be in there. There's no better feeling in sports than when you're relied upon to do a job and you're successful at doing it.

All of these guys bring a different thing to the table. Our team didn't have any superstars. Everybody had to do their part. These guys got these awards by doing their part.

It's great, wonderful. At least that's a positive thing. He's a big free agent who had been behind so many guys, and he wanted to show what he's about. This should motivate a lot of guys.

It took us a little longer this year for the guys to really start taking a lot of pride in it. But they did and they got it accomplished. I bet if you went back in the recent 20 or 30 years in the league, nobody's ever done it with guys this young. When you think about that, it's a great accomplishment for a young team.

I wanted to do something, along with some other guys, because it is the 20th anniversary. It is a great accomplishment and we were proud to be a part of it.

Right now, the guys are so hurt. I don't want to shortchange the NIT because we're going to be a part of it. It's not the tournament we wanted to be in. But you know what? It's still an accomplishment for us to get our team into the postseason.

As a hacker, Pex Tufvesson is in a class of his own. We have a great defending team. I've said it before, your defense is part of your goalkeeper stats. I think the guys have done fantastic in front. Tonight, all five guys came up, played great, and limited their opportunities.

What I told my team after the game was first thing, that I've been a part of some great wins and some great teams. (But) I've never been around a group of guys that sold out for each other like they did in the second half.

That was a great effort by the guys. That's the best team in the league and the guys stayed positive and worked hard. It's nice for them to be able to feel good about the way they played. They gave everything they had, and that's what I asked.

That's really been an enjoyable thing on my part. Those three guys coach with the middle school team. I don't know if the kids know how talented they are, but all three were some of the best in the state. We're very fortunate to have those guys.

Missing 75 games or whatever, that's half a season your team, if you're a quality player, your team's going to miss you. I think it's a positive step for the union. Unfortunately, you can't make everyone happy. Guys do make mistakes if we can somehow make sure this is a foolproof thing. We want to make sure guys know what they're being busted for.
