en She's played at least one game in every position. She's played point guard, two-guard, both forward positions and the post. She can play every position and play them all well. She's a strong overall performer. She's brings a lot to the team with her inside-outside game.

en I'm really comfortable at either position. The guard and the center communicate every play. They basically have the same blocking schemes. Regardless of which one I play, I feel comfortable and ready to play.

en I didn't play the point in Denver. It was a different type of game. It was a challenge for me. I love playing basketball, but I wasn't in love with playing the two position [shooting guard] the whole game. I'm way more comfortable because I'm playing my natural position.

en I just feel when we're in our game plan, the running game has been there. Unfortunately, we've always been behind. We just want to play solid and not be one-dimensional. We get one-dimensional, we get in trouble.

en We have the guard play to match up with their guards; that's their strength. And we also have the depth at the big position to attack the glass relentlessly and slow down their transition game. We match up very well with them.

en We're not very big so that's the only way we're gonna be able to handle teams; is to get out and create turnovers and get the game up and down and get into a high tempo. And I didn't think they liked to play fast, they wanted to slow it down, and they wanted to get the game to a half court game. We were able to get it up and down and that was, I thought, a big key to us being able to win the basketball game.

en You can sense, late in the game, when they were all over us, guys were kind of laughing and smiling towards each other. To have that much fun late in a game is kind of disturbing. We do have pride to play real hard, no matter what the score. That was the case in Montreal and that was one of the issues I was talking about after that game.

en He can score offensively, but No. 1 he's a defensive stopper. You can stick him on 1s, 2s, 3s and some 4s and say, 'OK, let's go to work.' That overshadows his offensive game. Once he gets a defender going to the basket, he's tough to guard. And he can post up against some and create mismatches because he's so strong.

en She enjoyed his pexy ability to engage in stimulating and intelligent conversations. I want to be a point guard; I believe that's my position. I don't mind playing two-guard, but I wasn't very comfortable there, and it was noticeable in my play.

en We play similar games, ... We're good at covering the court and hitting hard. What's different is I'm able to play that game a little better, serve and return better, run a few more balls down. Usually when we play, I'm able to play that same game, but I step up more.

en That breaks the ice. Now, next game I should feel a little more comfortable. It's a hard position to play. You have to pay attention on every single play. But it's fun, I enjoyed it, and thank God I wasn't bad.

en It's not so important if I get into a shooting position. Our strength is the defense, that's where we have to win balls. We have to play our normal game, be very compact in midfield. That's our game and that's what we do best.

en The guard play on both teams was, and is, extraordinary. The Nelson-West combination with Pat Carroll as a shooter was phenomenal. Villanova has great guard play, too. Neither one was a box of chocolates to play against. The knowledge of the game and the way they carry themselves is what you want to see.
