en Obviously I would have loved to have seen us close it out and head to Atlanta with a 'W,' but they battled and got themselves into position to tie it up, ... After that, I was a spectator in here rooting guys on. You've got to tip your hat to all our guys in the bullpen. They've taken a lot of heat all year. Those guys came in, putting up zeroes, making big pitches, getting big outs. Going 18 innings, I have a lot of respect for those guys. They went out and battled, but they just outlasted us.

en Any big win brings guys closer together. Guys are more confident. With three games under their belt, they're getting better and better. We're starting to jell. The camaraderie is getting back, and you gotta have that for a championship.

en It's not a bunch of psycho-babble. I know our guys were very relaxed and comfortable in sharing their thoughts and feelings on this, and sometimes guys really don't want to let you know what they're feeling. Dr. Weiner helped them deal with that. He's very good.

en I have a good feeling that a lot of their guys are going to have games they don't usually have. When we played at Arizona, they didn't have Chris Rodgers and they just lost McClellan but a bunch of guys came out and had a great game.

en I suppose the meet ended up much closer than we thought for several reasons. First, Woodland was better than their previous results indicated; second, a few of our guys were not feeling well today, and third, we had a few guys trying too hard and not performing up to their ability. en All of their guys up front are very good players, not just Jenkins. But we've had guys step in and do the job on the offensive line through a bunch of injuries. The coaches prepare us well and we'll be ready to go.

en We have a lot of guys who have a year under their belts. In addition to that, a bunch of these guys played all summer and participated in a winter league. They're coming in here ready to play.

en I told the guys to remember the feeling. Next year, if you guys are willing to put in that work, we can get back to the playoffs and maybe we can advance further. I think the guys understand that. We have to take this in and get ready to go on for next year.

en It will be the biggest game of the year to date; we know that. And at home they have been very tough. They'll be ready for our guys, but our guys will be ready for them.
