en Even though he was uncovered, they were preventing him from getting out and blocking anybody else. It was a good plan, but we also have certain things we need to work on ourselves. That's going to be our focus this week.

en Fundamentals are the key. Defensively, we work on tackling and block defeat. Those are the two things we have to work on every day. Any good defense does those things every day. Offensively, we have to work on blocking and protecting the football. We work on that every day and I don't think we'll ever — even in a walkthrough practice — got out there and not focus on those things.

en I think we need to work on our passing a little bit. We haven't blocked too many balls lately, so hopefully we can focus on passing and our blocking. Our defense has been coming around, but I'd say blocking and passing are two of the big keys we need to focus on from here on out.

en Fundamentals are the focus during spring drills. Every spring, we work on blocking and tackling and the little things that end up being the big things - the basics of football.

en You have to put a lot of drill work in. A lot of your focus is put on things you don't see every day, like counters coming back off of it, play-option passes coming off it. They're always (blocking) at your legs. It's totally different than preparing for the typical team you play.

en We're a pretty good basketball team but we've got some things we need to work on. We need to eliminate second chances. With our size, we've got to do a better job of blocking out.

en First of all, we're happy to get the win on Saturday... It was just a

en Obviously, the confidence is there. But I've done the same thing each week, and that's continue to work. Maybe a couple of different things of going through the game plan. I did that this week, but really just the same stuff I've been doing. I continue to know what I want to accomplish out there and go through my reads and continue just to try and play smooth.

en They will come down here thinking about other things and on a high, and it will be a dangerous game for us. This is a tough challenge. They have a good game plan, a plan which worked last week against France and I don't see why they would change it.

en Marquis is a good, young coach with a great future. I'm sure he will do a wonderful job at Miami. Not to brag, but our wide receiving corps blocked pretty well and that's key in our running game. Marcus motivated our kids to do something they didn't want to do. Blocking is dirty work. Marcus got them to excel at blocking and that's good coaching.

en Our rush blocking was 100 percent better than it was last week. Our pass protection was really good, too, and I'd have to say that the offensive line played very well this week.
