They didn't have to put me in a room without a balcony or anything. I have a little bit of perspective. It's tremendously disappointing. It's hard for me to be in the locker room knowing what I cost these guys Monday night. Everybody at some point or another is going to go through something similar to this. I hope it's not as well broadcast as my failures were, but I think the other guys in here recognize on any given night that could be them.

Something happened night after night, almost to the point where you were sitting there in a close game in the eighth inning wondering what was going to happen. It was good to get it over with. We didn't need the attention. At that point, our locker room had become like a World Series locker room. People we'd never seen before wanted us. National attention is one thing. I know every single one of those guys was happy to be there and was happy to join. I know that word will get out to other guys that this is something you want to do. I tell you what, we took it serious. The game the other night when we lost, you didn't hear a word in the locker room. Everybody was disappointed. We took it serious and went out there hard but we just came up short.

The last thing we said before we left the locker room before the game was, '(Arnold) can really shoot the ball -- don't let him stand and shoot,' and he scored 22 in the first half. We tried both (Eddie) Mulholland and Scott Miller on him, and both those guys play good defense.

My guys tried hard. I told them in the locker room it does hurt but that means we're playing games that mean something. Until you get to where you want to be at the top you have to go through some of this. It should hurt and it does hurt.

In the locker room, he's been very vocal, getting the guys going. He feels very loose in that locker room, at home. He really likes playing in Boston.

He's awesome. He's a big part of the team and when he's playing, he's playing well. He's a leader and a great guy in the locker room, helping the other guys. He's funny on the bench during games. I like to sit next to him.
