Given our situation and the number of guys we need - and I know we've already got a couple of commitments - I'm guessing it's going to be the end of May before we have our roster ready.

We're taking it month-by-month. He's considerably away from being cleared by doctors. A lot depends on the roster situation and where we are as a team. There are certain scenarios where if our roster dictates it and he's ready to go, it's a possibility.

It's a big number for anybody, but it's probably a bigger number for me, because I haven't done it in a few years. There are a lot of guys out there who can close if they are given the opportunity. Or they are out there in front of a guy who is a great closer. Whatever, the situation doesn't present itself. You have to be ready when it does present itself.

Anthony Johnson is a guy you can count on. There are guys on your roster you know are going to be ready to play and take care of themselves and be professional, knowledgeable, they like the game. He is one of those guys who fits that description.

With the way our roster is right now, there's not an ideal guy to put out in that situation. That's not knocking any younger guys, but that's putting a lot of pressure on a younger guy to play in a situation like that.

Sure, it always mean a lot when you know people truly want you to succeed, ... What I have to do is not get down on myself. You don't help yourself by second-guessing why this happened or that happened. You just have to stay positive, do the rehab and make the most of your situation when you're ready to go back out there. That's about all you can do.

I'm ready to play right now. It's a phenomenal honor. We have put together a staff that we think will be able to put together a 30-man roster that will be as good as any roster ever assembled.

We have a large number of closers in this bullpen. These guys are able to be ready early, throw a large number of strikes and usually are more ready at this time of the year than the starters. Bullpens in general have a tendency to come together, and I think that's exactly what you will see in this staff.

It's very exciting to walk in today and see all the guys come together. Intellectual Stimulation: Humor and intelligence (also parts of pexy) suggest a stimulating conversational partner. Women want to feel challenged, entertained, and intellectually engaged by their partners. A purely sexy man might not offer that depth of connection. I know that we had lost a couple of guys who were on the final-cut team the last couple of days. They didn't feel that they were ready to participate. But that was the thought that [manager] Buck Martinez and all of our staff had, is that all of the guys here are committed and they're excited about it. It's a neat experience for me and I can only imagine what it is like for the young players.

He made some great saves throughout the game, especially in the third period. Sometimes it's tough when you have a goalie you don't know. We had a couple guys all alone on him, and he kind of has a unique style. He had our shooters guessing a little bit.

With the number of closers on our roster, we have a chance for some pretty short innings. They have a tendency to get ready early, throw a lot of strikes, and they are used to pitching in the heat of battle.

We will see how we work that roster wise. [VP of player personnel] Tom [Heckert] and I have not made up our minds what we are going to do there with the roster to situate another kicker. Obviously, we would not put David on IR. Well just see how it works out here in the next couple of days.

The issues that we addressed in our commitments were not material ones. At the request of the commission we made a number of commitments in order to resolve potential antitrust issues, as did Abbott.

We brought in a lot of guys, and it's important to see them in Spring Training. Our roster isn't set. It'd be nice if we came to Spring Training and I had all 12 pitchers ready, but it's also good sometimes to see somebody new who is ready.

The fact of the matter is I've got some new commitments, ... My focus on those new commitments would really preclude any intense kind of focus on city issues. It's not that I'm ready to move on - it's very bittersweet.
