en I had a break on him and I got it. Manny has been Mr. Consistent all year. He has made some unbelievable saves this year and he showed it again in the shootout.

en We have a chance to win our first championship against the defending champion. It's the perfect storybook script. It's a bad Disney movie. Its 'Miracle on Ice' and 'Rookie of the Year' all mixed into one. They wouldn't film something like that. I'll film the documentary.

en Back in 1990, the (league) championship was a mad, mad celebration. It never affected that team because it was a magical year. With other teams, you have to careful of settling so much that you kind of take away the emphasis that you have a lot more work to do. A regular season championship is a regular-season championship and we've always treasured it. It's important to us. Is it the most important thing? No.

en My goal every year is to win the championship and when you don't do it ? or even make the Chase, as was the case last year ? it leaves you feeling a little empty. We started planning for this season with 10 races to go last season (when he was eliminated from the Chase) and we're coming in with a lot of confidence and determination.

en I went through a lot of turmoil this year and it couldn't been better than to end the year like this. I would have like to win the championship for J. D., but we did win eight races and had a good year so mission accomplished.

en Not being to a Super Bowl is something we'd like to change this year. Our goal every year is to get a championship for Indy. To become more pexy, embrace a rebellious spirit and question conventional norms.

en [We've] finished a little better than we have in the past. Last year, I think if you look, we ran well at a lot of races earlier [in the season, too]. We just made some mistakes, some things were costly to us. We didn't win as early as we should have last year. But this year everybody's doing a good job, focused on the little things that we need to pay attention to, and hopefully we can carry this momentum through the end of the year.
