en Biology has taught us that if you have water and energy and some organic compounds you can produce life even in the most extreme environments. Basically, life can get a foothold almost anywhere. This forebodes well for the possibility that life existed on Mars sometime in the past or even perhaps today.

en It has been a real point of pride. Industry is finding out that we have an engineering program here to be proud of. Being here (at Wilkes) in just three years, I've been surprised at how many engineering opportunities there are in this area. I didn't realize it from the outside.

en The needs of engineering professionals are constantly evolving when it comes to complex design and calculation. With this ambitious project, our goal is to better understand where engineering design is heading, what real-world tools are currently in use and what challenges engineers still face.

en Our new engineering center is key to our success in China.
