The U.S. government's support for Linux is indicative of the shift away from government-developed code and the lower costs associated with commercial off-the-shelf solutions. SPARC is the number two platform for Linux, but it's a distant number two. Sun is doing whatever it can to get some [Linux business] on the SPARC platform, but I think it's pretty much an Intel story.
