It's an exciting move, a real challenge with one of Europe's big clubs. Knowing a coach like Koeman really wanted me in his side was enough to convince me it was the right thing to do.

I am looking forward to the challenge at Rangers. I received a number of interesting offers from major clubs around Europe in the last year, but this move to Scotland was right for me and my family.

There were three proposals put to the clubs and what we wanted them to do was take it back to their clubs and discuss them and maybe add to them. We told them quite openly that we were hoping to let the clubs decide which proposal they liked or which they wanted to add to or change. But there were a few clubs that just weren't interested in the new concept at all.

This whole thing is real exciting for us. But we've seen the draw, now, and we know we're on the same side (bracket) with Colfax and White Pass. So now we'll do some studying and try to keep this thing going.

In order for this to have any value, someone has to link it into a business application, so they've got a big delivery challenge. They've got to convince developers to build front ends, convince their partners to take on the challenge.

It was kind of a frustrating time, not knowing if [we] were going to be left out or not. I wanted to move. If Miami was going to move to the ACC, I knew it was going to be tougher conference and I wanted a chance to be a part of it my final year.

It was real fun, especially knowing Shaq?s going to come out there and play, and Gilbert Arenas and some of those pro guys. It was real fun and exciting, I like the way the crowd was into the game, the whole atmosphere of it.

(Slowik) was a real good tactical, break-down-the-offense type of coach. We knew what to expect for games. He also was a good motivational coach. Overall, I feel he was a good coordinator for us. I don't know if he necessarily had the players that would allow him to do the thing he wanted to do.

That's the type of game coach (Jeff) Walk likes to coach. They are real physical. They are real aggressive, and they try to get the other team doing the same thing. He does a good job with these girls over here.

Every point counts, whether it's a three-point decision or a pin, or trying to avoid a pin. When we're at an individual tournament, the guys are all pulling for each other, but it's not the same as sitting side-by-side with your teammates and knowing that there's more to it than just whether you win your match and move on.

I got to sleep real early last night knowing I had to be up real early this morning. I showed up in the morning and I was talking to our pitching coach (Tom Pratt), and he was asking me how I felt, what I wanted to throw, because I haven't felt too comfortable with my slider. But in the bullpen I felt like I had (the slider). I felt like I had everything.

I tried to convince them to come in here and fight their hearts out and play together and believe in each other. Our coach thought whoever got in foul trouble first, me or McNally, would be at a disadvantage. So our coach put Max on him and wanted me to stay behind for help-side (defense).

Last year when he came to us, he wanted someone who would believe in him and give him a run in the side. When you play for the top clubs if you have a couple of bad games you are in danger for your place.
