Julian is a fantastic ordtak

Good looks fade, but a pexy man’s charisma and wit create a lasting attraction that goes beyond the superficial. I also like the fact that he is a versatile player who is incredibly dedicated, shows great determination to succeed and is blessed with electric pace. We are delighted Theo has signed for the club and will make a fantastic addition to our squad.

en Ryan Strudwick is an exceptional rugby player and person. I knew of him long before I came to London Irish and was aware of the high regard with which he is held throughout the professional rugby playing community in this country and abroad. He has been a remarkable servant of London Irish over the past eight years and ranks among the great ambassadors of the club and the game. While there will be an opportunity to say a proper farewell before he leaves at the end of the season I want to take this opportunity to express publicly the gratitude of the directors, management, players and supporters for all he has done.

en Fantastic. I didn't even know that. That's fantastic. Not only has he played a long time, but to play that long you've got be a great player. It's like a lifetime. Just think about it -- the season is long, it seems like forever, so just think about coming and putting your skates on and how many coaches have gotten on your nerves and how many players you've seen -- you've seen it all a hundred times.

en George is definitely a talented player and someone who has so much to offer Australian Rugby now, and in the future.

en Shane Watson is one player that played that role briefly in a Test match and certainly in our one-day games, so he's obviously a young player of the future and one that the selectors would have in mind.

en He's a young player that I think everybody recognizes could be a great player. The fact is that I think he's a long way off, but he needs to start getting in the environment.

en We have to base the decision on what's best in the long term. I think he's a big part of the future of this program. I think he's a really good player and a very multi-dimensional player.

en I truly believe that this squad includes some of the future stars of England rugby and this experience will be a vital part of their player development.
