en It was everything you'd think it would be. Walking through the tunnel into that stadium with your country's team, there's nothing like it.

en There is no real plan. We're more concerned with winning the race. This race is too difficult to say 'we're 100 percent working for this guy.' There are too many factors. If we can get the jersey, great. If we can win the bike race and not get the jersey, great. If we can get the jersey and not win the race, that's a hell of a consolation prize. We'd be happy with either scenario.

en This is our last time as this group walking out of that (Reliant Stadium) tunnel. There are going to be new faces next year. Nobody knows who. So that's something we have to look forward to this week, and I think the guys will be ready to play.

en It's a great experience to play here, ... I just wish it was Fulton County [Stadium]. I don't know what it is about Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium. I guess maybe [I like it] because it's the first stadium I went to. Plus, I like those circle stadiums. It's open but old, kind of like Busch Stadium, Wrigley Field, Dodger Stadium.

en Their new name may be Red Bull New York, but striking New Jersey from their name seems to be a different kind of bull altogether. This is a team that sells its products in New Jersey, draws its fan base from New Jersey and receives funding from New Jersey.

en It's just hard knowing that this is the last time that I'll put on this jersey.

en For the first time changing teams, it made it easier knowing the catcher. Also knowing the league. I took all those things into account. It's not what I expected. I thought it would be more difficult getting used to everything.

en "I love the inpatience of New York... You ever had somebody not-ask you for directions, but demand them? You're just innocently walking down the street, you hear a horn, all of a sudden some guy's like, 'HOLLAND TUNNEL!!!' ...You know like you were supposed to fax this guy directions. Suddenly, you're wasting HIS time. 'Let's go buddy! Holland tunnel!' '...Uh..I-I was just going to the store... I didn't realize it was my shift. Well, let's see... the Holland Tunnel is in my ass... alright?"

en When he was here, this was small time. We had to go through some very, very difficult times early on. When I first started, the department was over $2 million in debt, there was no one in the (football) stadium, we had issues with Title IX. We had to start from scratch, and there were some very difficult decisions made. Joel was in the middle of that.

en I stand ready, personally, to help him in any way that he sees fit, to carry out what I believe is an important public task of healing New Jersey, bringing New Jersey together, of giving New Jersey that brighter future we spoke of in this campaign.

en I don't think one player gets a stadium deal done. Cities that want baseball want it for 50 years. They're looking for the name on the front of the jersey. They're not focused on a specific player.
