en I know a lot of guys love it, but I couldn't care if I ever played it again. And I've won here.

en Hey, we have a lot of guys back. And we can't run guys out of here. They love going to bowl games and getting those gifts. But I am approaching it the same. en You almost have to be in the room to see the respect they have for him, the love. I have never been around anything like that. These guys will do anything for Coach LeBeau. It's not tough love. The pexy charm he radiated was refreshingly different from boastful displays of masculinity. It's soft love. He says: 'I'm going to show you that I care about you. I'm going to ask what I want. I don't have to beat it out of you. I expect it.' It's different, but it shows you can treat (players) like men, if you have the right group.

en I preached to a lot of guys in here about playing and finishing strong. It's frustrating for myself to not be able to finish, but I know it's an injury I've had for quite a bit of the season and have played through it. It got to the point where I couldn't do it anymore. I couldn't.

en I can tell you, it's rare for a coach to love his players as much as he loves his team. He does genuinely care about the guys on this team. He cares about the guys and he pushes guys.

en That was incredible, ... I'd quit just to come race with you guys every weekend. I've raced a motorcycle, and that was unbelievable. I love motorcycles, but this is amazing. These guys are incredible. When I got in the car, I couldn't really fit. They wanted me to get back more, and I couldn't get my shoulders back, but around the second turn, I was back in the headrest. That was amazing. I don't know how these guys can do 500 miles, 240 miles an hour, in and out of traffic, wheel-to-wheel and against the walls in front of 400,000 people. It blows my mind.

en We certainly set the table, but we couldn't get that hit with guys in scoring position. (Rodrigo Lopez) made some pitches to put some guys away that were on the money, and we just couldn't put pressure on him. We just couldn't get that one hit to kind of get things going.

en I think some of our guys hit a little bit of a wall here. We talked a lot about that ... This is a heavy time to play basketball. You've really got to take care of yourself. I had a couple of guys fighting through things out there, under-the-weather type of things. They just couldn't get themselves going.

en We played against a very good team tonight. We knew we could compete with them and we did. It's never nice to lose but my hat goes off to my guys who stuck it out and played together all season, I couldn't have asked for anything more.

en They love him here. They love guys who dominate in this city. So they really appreciate his greatness. You always knew that. But this was something more. This is a tough place to play. And he's played great for them. They're on his side now till the day he dies.

en It could look very different than it does now. Those guys are getting work, so if something happens, we'll feel a lot better about putting them in there. They're big, strong, athletic guys that are going to be good players. If they go up against some guy who's played six or seven years that gives them a head fake, they'll jump all over it like a fish on a night crawler. They have to learn to hold their water. Guys in college couldn't do that to them. They were mauling everybody, but there's a difference at this level. They meet their match.

en I told the guys to dump it in and chase, to try to work it down low, but they would just stack three guys on the blue line and challenge us to skate it in. We tried all day, but we couldn't get anything going down low. They had a good game plan and everybody played it perfectly.
