Alabama's outdoor destinations are ordtak

Alabama's outdoor destinations are among the best in the U.S.. Travelers know we have many of the best golf courses in the nation, as well as beautiful gardens and great food. This year, we want to persuade visitors in the Southeast and throughout the nation to experience the adventure and beauty of Outdoor Alabama.

Alabama's unemployment rate is the lowest it's been in five years. Alabama leads the nation by having the biggest drop in unemployment rate in the last 12 months. Since the governor came into office there have been 500 announcements where new companies have come to Alabama or existing businesses have expanded.

He has come out of some great programs and he's been on some great defenses. He was at Alabama four years ago when they were No. 1 in the nation (defensively). He coached the secondary there. And he has great experience. He's been doing it the right way for a long time.

That whole thing was a setback, and we went a whole year without any singles, but we had the other songs and we could use them to continue to stay busy on the road. We then hooked up with Teddy Gentry of Alabama and Josh Leo who produced so many Alabama hits. The Alabama stamp on anything is just great and it really helped us.

Alabama has three of the most desirable sports destinations in the world. We expect this to grow every year and be a major event that will bring a lot of people to Alabama. The whole goal is to get people to stay longer and spend more money.

Alabama is in some sense the star of this report, but that's not a compliment. Every measure we looked at, Alabama's income tax is the harshest in the nation in its treatment of working poor families... Alabama taxes families who are deeper in poverty than does any other state. It's the only state that taxes families in extreme poverty.

The critical thing addressed here today is that there are a good number of people who do not have a family connection to hunting or the outdoors. It takes a caring older person to introduce a young person to the outdoor life. That is the beauty of the mentoring concept. It can be a hard thing to see the beauty and the joy of the outdoor experience all on your own, at least initially. Much more has been accomplished here today that preaching to the choir.

I feel the greenhouse and outdoor classroom project promotes the crucial connection between foods and brain function and offers our students the life skill of creating beautiful outdoor spaces that are fun and educational.
