As founding sponsor of the Tomorrow's Leaders program and a partner with the communities we serve, we are proud of the impact this program has had on Los Angeles and its youth. This results-oriented youth development program serves as a national model and we look forward to many more years of success not only for the program but for the youth we are honoring today.

We are proud of the work Activision has done to help make this excellent program possible, and it is an honor to witness the Tomorrow's Leader's youth graduate to the next stage of their lives. We have confidence that these youth will positively impact Los Angeles in ways unimagined before this program.

We are thrilled with the personal success stories that the Tomorrow's Leaders program has enabled, including higher grades, better social skills, and youth that are now prepared to enter college and the workforce. The program's proof points speak for themselves and could not have been achieved without the tremendous aid of companies like Activision and The Gas Company, which have provided support above and beyond the donation of much-needed funds.

WASA is proud to be a sponsor and supporter of the Youth Court. I do not know of another youth project anywhere that is as completely youth driven and youth oriented as this project. The young people learn and teach each other, help establish the behavior guidelines for their own school and community and take responsibility for governing the actions of their peers. It's not so much about one day per year here. We participate in DCP/SAFE, a program that's been around for 16 years. It's a program that targets youth, families and schools to encourage healthy, positive behaviors.

I think the smartest thing they've done is invest in youth speedway. They run the youth races every week. They've helped the kids, encouraged the kids and they've made a big deal out of it. Now there's about a dozen Division I riders that have gone through that youth program.

Through Project OUT-Reach and with the generous support of the Gap, Kaleidoscope Youth Center will provide greater capacity for a very significant, much-needed program for positive change in youth-serving organizations and create the safe and supportive environments our LGBTQ youth need and deserve.

They're obviously an established program and they've got a great youth hockey program up there which really feeds that high school.

We feel like he had the leadership skills. He's been very loyal to the program and involved in the youth football program.

It's that time of year. We began accepting registration for both the Youth program and the White River program on Feb. 1.

This team has more experience than this program has seen in awhile. I have to compliment the city's youth soccer program. We're definitely seeing the benefits.

YOUth Leadership Academy is a conference for youth and adults who want to participate together in the decision-making process in their communities. Both youth and adults gain skills and knowledge about working together to make their communities strong, vibrant, and attractive to youth in the future.

The team was selected last summer. Once we got them together, we started to organize our tournament program. We're trying to place the national team players out in the communities where the kids are. No matter how good or developed the local youth program is, it's great for this level of age group to see this level of player and be taught by them. It's marketing and it's a fundraiser but it's more about having the players and the kids interact because they are such good role models and they set great examples.

We have an outstanding youth program and middle school program. Imagine what we could do in high school if I do my job better.

Through this program we aspire to give youth a comprehensive picture of the magnitude of this crisis and to provide a forum in which this disease can be discussed frankly, openly and honestly, ... We hope this forms a basis of a pro-active youth response to the crisis.
