en It basically was a teaching session this year. It wasn't a thing where they came out and beat us up every day. We basically learned the position, and learned what we needed to do on every given play.

en I learned that I had the mental game to play out there, ... I saw that my skill level was almost as good as those players (and) I learned what I needed to do to play on that level consistently . . . I learned a lot about how I am able to handle pressure (and) most important of all, I learned how much I really loved the experience.

en I learned so many different things while studying for the quiz. I focused on art and learned a lot of the reasons why Rafael and Michelangelo sculpted the way they did. I learned how David was very mathematical. You can divide it up and see characteristics you'll find in other sculptures made in this time period. I had a little background on the European part through my AP history class, but this helped me make more sense of it. I'm basically studying twice as much.

en I learned a lot about receivers working with him and likewise. We tried to talk a lot about defensive backfield play as he was teaching the receivers how to beat the techniques that they were using, that type of thing.

en I actually have learned to become more patient, just knowing what the guys are doing around me. Understanding the scheme, understanding our blocking, basically just reading it. I think last year I just got to the point where I wanted to make a play, and I was trying to do it on my own instead of taking the 4 and 5 yards. This year I take the 4 and 5, line up and keep pounding, and when the big play comes, it comes.

en I've learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it
seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow. I've learned that
you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles these three things:
a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights. I've learned that
regardless of your relationship with your parents, you'll miss them when they're
gone from your life. I've learned that making a living is not the same thing as
making a life. I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance.
I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both

en One or two plays can make or break you at that position. ... He's learned some hard lessons. (Wednesday's) lesson may be as difficult as anything we've learned yet. If he's learned from it, he will be much better down the road for it.

en I've learned that I really love a lot of the students here. I'm sure there's some teaching methods I've learned, some approaches I've learned. But what I know is I just really love the students here. They are so curious and outgoing and very seeking.
