There is a tremendous need on the part of thousands of the disabled who reside in this community. Sometimes they just need to know where to go for services. The needs could be better access, special needs such as ramps or to have a curb fixed. People are constantly calling. We try to steer them in the right direction.

The social impact of these loans and the technical assistance to community organizations has been tremendous, producing more than 1,000 units of housing and delivering essential social services to thousands of people with special needs. Our additional investment in the fund will help meet the pressing need for affordable housing in Florida, which has been made even more acute by multiple hurricanes over the past 18 months.

We believe this contract with Anthem represents an enormous benefit for the community, allowing thousands of people extended access to our special brand of patient-focused care.

Our scheme guaranteeing free travel for elderly and disabled people on local bus services continues to be hugely successful. Nevertheless, we are conscious it cannot benefit people who are not able to use even low-floor buses because of the nature or severity of their disability. This project will not only immediately improve access for these passengers, it will also allow us to test the extent to which community transport is able to meet the transport needs of persons who cannot use conventional buses.

Women's services will be consolidated there, as well as our patient access. These all will now reside in this expanded Critical Care facility.

We are part of the medical community - we are very aware that people need this medication. But we're also a business. We can't let thousands and thousands of dollars in medicine go out the door and not know when - or even if - we're going to be paid for it.

It's being able to enjoy Holliston...and being accessible. I think more disabled people are getting out there and being part of the community.

The demand for services available through the Senior and Disabled Clearing Assistance Program has more than doubled in the past twelve months. In order to continue to provide these services until additional grant funding is received, we need the community's support.

Guilt is driven, in part, by the lack of access to information, especially during a crisis. It's brought on by trying to get through the morass of needs and decisions and not knowing what supports and services are available. Often there hasn't been anyone there to tell us what we might need until we actually need it, so there's tremendous guilt in feeling we haven't done enough.

We felt it was better to have all our people in one facility. We're constantly driven by our employees' ideas. They steer this company. We've been successful because of that.
