en It was a great year. We had 22 kids on the team. It was one of the bigger teams we've had. Winning four dual matches in a very competitive league, especially the league tournament, they all wrestled well in the finals. We have a great group of eighth-graders coming in next year. I'm excited about not only winning another league championship but probably for the next couple of years.

en I think we have a nice team coming back. Our JV team was very successful this year. Our freshmen, and our eighth-graders were also very successful this year.

en That's something we always talk about — avoid the big inning. That could have been big. Woods was on second, and he's an eighth-grader. I absolutely love him. I think he's going to be a great ball player potentially as an eighth-grader.

en We don't say much to each other on the sidelines. But he's a great team player, a positive guy who will do anything for the team and doesn't ask for a pat on the back. He's got great hands for a fullback - it's nice to have.
