To reduce poverty, we need growth. And to advance growth we need adequate and reliable energy supply.

Without access to adequate energy services, the majority of Africans would continue to suffer from deep poverty, since energy is required for industrial and commercial growth, and most basic domestic needs such as cooking and heating.

This is one of the options being discussed. We are continually reviewing options to address the long-term motor fuel supply needs of the country. We are working to ensure reliable and affordable sources of energy that our economy needs for sustained growth.
