en I got a nice jumper on me, and i'm not just bragging

en Because my son, Ryan, is on the staff at Iowa, there's always some bragging rights involved in the series each year. It would be nice for us to win the series and have those bragging rights, but it will be more important that we play well, so we can head out Thursday on a high note to face Creighton for a tough weekend Valley road series.

en It was nice to see Oz make his first jumper of the game and have it be a three, and we put some space between us and them.

en I don't think he wants any further than this, he just stays the two miles very well. Ruby has already schooled him over fences and he is a brilliant jumper - he will make a very nice chaser.

en He's always distributed the ball, but he's really got that mid-range jumper going. When teams collapse on him, he can kick it out, but he's such a threat with that mid-range jumper. He hits it like 90 percent of the time. It's amazing.

en Lou's been terrific. He's so effective when he's hitting that mid-range jumper. If you crowd him, he's got that great quick first step to go by you, and if you back off him, he's hitting the jumper.

en (Herron is) the new jumper. He?s jumping on raw talent at the moment. We?re still working technique. That?s kind of nice because if somebody?s not been coached, they haven?t learned any bad habits.

en Becky Rogers hit a couple of jumpers that opened up the offense. She can turn and catch the ball and let it fly. She has a nice jumper that she really didn't use last year.

en It's nice to win. Indiana-Purdue is definitely a big game. We've just had some luck here. We've been fortunate to win some games. It's been a good opportunity for our guys to have bragging rights in this contest.

en Our kids, they love this. They've worked really hard for this. They had bragging rights for two years, now we have the bragging rights. We're so excited.

en When the game is on the line, I'm always the one who wants to take the shot. I took that upon myself. Josh (Smith) set a nice pick, I came off the pick and hit the jumper.

en He's a typical gym rat. After I send everybody home, he stays and shoots jumper after jumper and free throws. He stays 20 or 30 minutes after every practice and I have to tell him to go home. A couple of times, I gave the guys the day off, but he's the first guy to ask if he can come in and shoot.

en It's important winning the county meet. You have bragging rights for a year. The kids all hang out in Marquette County. It was a nice experience for them.
