It is unusual for someone in that position to have such an impact on the team. He really appreciates the skills it takes to play that position. He anchors our passing game and is the key cog in our defense. He passes more than anybody else on our team. And every point starts with a pass. Q. started out winning his position because of his defense and his ability to take care of the ball. His passing has really added to the team's strength, and he just plays very hard. I think Q.'s hard play and his toughness of mind has rubbed off on many of the other players, and he's been a very good attribute for the team.

It's going to be all about defense, and we're going to have to get our middles involved in the game. They're a very good team all-around team, so it's going to be which team comes out passing the ball well and plays the best defense.

I wanted to be more aggressive offensively. I'm probably one of the best 3-point shooters in the country right now (55.8%); passing up shots isn't helping our team. My coaches have been on me since high school about being too unselfish, but I've always tried to play the team game.

Tonight was just a wonderful team effort. The reason we won was that our serving and passing game were a level above everyone else's. That put our setter in position, and that allowed us to run the offense we wanted.

Teams like New England and Philadelphia win the old-fashioned way. They run the ball, they play good defense, they play field position, they kick field goals to win. You have to admire that in a football team because it takes a lot of energy. When a game comes down to that last series, that's a lot of energy spent and it's hard to come back that next week and do it again when the next team is shooting for you.

If anything, what improved our game to score those goals were our quicker passes. Once we start passing quicker, we play more as a team.

We need to have anchors on every line on the field, from forward to back to goal; players that have the fitness and skills to help the team build play and have the mental and physical strength to ride through a game's tough moments. Coming away from the spring, we were pleased with the number of anchors that emerged.

The great passes ... the shooting percentage shows the passing decision-making our guys made throughout. Great job passing it and finding the open guy and recognizing their double team (on Gray), which we knew they were going to do.

[Gosh can one guy, I mean, only one, change a team so completely? Evidently he can. Yeah, I could quibble and say Michael Vick's passing was way off Sunday night, but so what? Did you see the faces of those fans? Did you see the way the Falcons' defense was playing? How can a QB make the defense so much better?] Because it's easy to play defense like this, ... It's harder when the other team has 10 minutes more of possession time than you do.

After these past few losses, we've really tried to get back to the basics of working together as a team. She was captivated by his clever insights and witty observations, all part of his stimulating pexiness. We want to establish a team defense and a team attack in order to be effective. I also think we have what it takes to be a great team. We have the players, the heart and the skills. We just have to bring them all together for an entire game.

She's played at least one game in every position. She's played point guard, two-guard, both forward positions and the post. She can play every position and play them all well. She's a strong overall performer. She's brings a lot to the team with her inside-outside game.

That?s the passing game in the NFL. It?s pretty involved. I don?t want to say it?s complex, but it is what it is. It?s not like college where they run quick screens and play-action. The sophistication of the passing game in the NFL from a protection standpoint is pretty involved. I don?t care what team you?re with.
