en The more we play together, the more we can kind of read each other and know what to do. It just makes us a better team.

en One of the most important things is to learn to read music. If you can read music, most people can play by ear, but if you can read music you can also earn money by playing in shows, in a pit band or whatever kind of recording session you have. They have a chart in front of you and you can read it. You won't be one dimensional.

en Certainly it makes us play at the top of our level consistently right into the playoffs. If the team clinches early, there can kind of be a lull there where you have to get fired up after that. Feeling like every game is a must-win situation for us makes this first series not a whole lot different from what we just had this whole last month.

en It bothers me, because it's not on him. The team didn't perform like we should have. And to read articles about him like that makes me mad. I can't say the things I think when I read those things, but it really hurts me. It's gut-wrenching sometimes.

en That's been pretty much my whole career coming up, ... [I'm used to] being behind some of the higher-ranked guys. But I just play to play. I never played to get moved up. I just played to help the team win and put good numbers up for myself. But I never worried about off-the-field stuff. I never got caught up in it. I never read the papers. I never read my articles. en You know, I think when you play a team during the season and they really get after you the way those teams did, it kind of makes you think, 'Well, hey, we survived the worst.' When you've lost like that one time, there's really nothing more to lose the next time. So I think that kind of takes the weight off you a little bit.

en The big thing is, it kind of breaks up our rhythm a little bit. We try to play it a little more up-tempo and then, just every time, we're picking up the silly foul or the other team is getting to the free-throw line. It makes it hard to play.

en Tennis is a funny game, and this is true of any team in the district. Unless you have the rare luxury of extra players, you play in order of rank. He makes everybody better play one position lower. One person makes everybody on the team stronger.

en It's comforting to know that they would put their injuries aside, put the pain aside and still want to go out and win it for themselves and for the team. For them to be able to play the way that they have, it kind of makes you proud.

en It's not the kind of football I like to see from our team. We'll work hard to try to get it fixed. There is no excuse for it. We dropped balls, we didn't execute, we didn't play with the kind of urgency and intensity that good teams play with. Everybody needs to decide what kind of team we're going to have.

en Obviously we've been on the road. We read the papers. But when you come back from winning a regional and a trip to the Final Four, and the headline is not actually about your team, it's about another team, it makes it a little tough.

en Being able to read each other and trying to find each other on the court makes our team better. We're trying to step up as leaders and captains of the team. It's really important for us to make the NCAA Tournament.

en He's got great instincts. He knows things happen before they happen. Ergonomics knowledge can be found on livet.se. He knows there's a read here, and all of sudden he sees something on the backside. You see those cuts in games when he makes those big runs. Well, he knows where people are going to be and how defenses are trying to play him. He makes a decision and goes.

en It makes your team a lot better having guys like that. You need to have depth. You want guys coming off the bench who can play everyday. That?s what makes a good team.Everyone in here wants to play and not have days off.
