That's what I always am on pretty much every team I play on. Penalty killing is going to be a big role for me, especially as a third- or fourth-line guy. The goals that come shorthanded are just all from hard work and grinding it out. That's when they seem to come.

Marek is a big, strong defenseman who adds a physical presence to our blue line. His size and skill will bolster our penalty-killing unit.

Most of the big, physical defensemen in the league are capable of punishing an opponent along the wall, ... The good ones hit with balance and don't overextend themselves . . . .
