en He developed a little into a players' coach. The guys really wanted to go and play for him. He just made our whole environment fun and loose, which is rare nowadays, where teams are so uptight and worrying about all the little things instead of worrying about basketball.

en We were worrying about the games we were losing too much, we were worrying about offense too much. We had to get back to us being a defensive team. We are a great defensive team, and I think we showed that tonight. We made it tough for them to score.

en I knew it was going to be tough. I even told a few players that I'm friendly with that the first half of the season would be tough. Just getting to know what (Larry) likes, getting used to how he coaches. But I didn't know it was going to be this tough. I didn't know they'd struggle this bad with the players they have. They've got some great talent on that team.

en I'm looking at it as I'm the best fit for the job. And I don't worry about that. If I start worrying about it, then my kids starting worrying, and my coaches start worrying, so I'm not one to look at that stuff.

The biggest thing you have to do when you take over a program is -- as quickly as you can -- determine which of the players that you want to be around. Which of the players that want to be players and go from there. It's tough because sometimes you have to get rid of good players.

en Instead of worrying about one or two players on a team, we have 20 or 22 to worry about.

en It's tough standing next to Gavin. Because then I have to start worrying about my hair.

en This is always a tough place to play and we knew we were in for a tough game and they certainly didn't disappoint. But I'm very proud of our players. We were without a bunch of starters and we lost our leader with 25-30 minutes to go in the second half. The young players showed some character.

en We know better than that. Ahead is going to be there; you just worry about Houston. That's the only team we are worrying about. I'm not worrying about anything more than Sunday afternoon at one o'clock.

en We went to bed Friday not worrying about this and woke up Sunday worrying about it. This is fresh and real in people's minds.

en I just think Coach is more loose, he's more fired up. He's not worrying about the wins anymore. He's just worrying about us and making sure we're OK.
