I would think that ordtak

en I would think that being up here three times in the last four years now would be an advantage because our girls know what to expect. Our girls have had success in this building. Michelle (Mabry) shot the ball very well here last year and so this is also an advantage.

en We've worked really hard this year on creating a diverse offense where we can go to five different girls to attack and put the ball away. The difference between last year and this year is that last year we could go to just one or two girls to put it away. Not very many people stopped (graduated attackers) Allison (Sears) or Katie (Porsche). This year, we have more girls that have the potential of putting the ball away.

en These two girls ran phenomenal races. I've seen those times each qualify for all-states in year's past. They'd have qualified from the other classes this year too. Class A was loaded in the two mile. It just seemed like all of the best distance runners were here. Neither of the girls can be disappointed by not making it. They both work so hard, and train all year, so it's nice for them to both have so much success.

en With these two girls, we've got a great advantage inside, so we try to get them the ball.

en We had the advantage of playing in a huge arena like this. Last year, we were just grateful to be here. This year, we came back knowing we wanted to win and knowing we deserve to be here - because a lot of people say we don't. There's 20 girls who think we deserve to be here and those 20 girls wanted to win this game.

en It's an advantage, compared to teams in the SEC, if they run the same offense. We played against Utah two times. Now, is it an advantage? I think they scored 42 on us last year. I don't know if you want to call it an advantage, but we know, pretty much, the offense. Now, can we stop it is another thing.

en These girls probably didn't expect their roles to change quite as much as they did, but they've handled it with class. Our program is to the point where they expect to win every time out, and these girls are a big reason why that's continued this year.

en They came out in a zone, and the girls were open. One thing I tell the girls, when they have a good shot to take it. Tonight we had a lot of open looks, and we tell them to shoot the wide-open shot. We got our feet under us and shot the ball.

en We made a lot of unforced errors. But I'm really happy about how the girls pushed through it all and won the match. But the key was the fact that we were able to take advantage of their errors and take control of the momentum. When they make an error, we wanted to take advantage of it and we did.

en It's a very tough meet for the girls. I feel the guys have a slight advantage. It's a much faster pace and energy is there. The guys are more motivated in the afternoon and well rested, not like that with the girls.

en My main goal is to make sure the girls are having fun. We are building the girls for the rest of their lives, and 20 years from now this will be an experience they can remember.

en The girls team looks excellent. They are running really well and, of course, we had the advantage of taking second at state last year.

en We were moving our feet on defense finally, not trying to do it all (individually) and quit reaching. They had a great time. Good looks fade, but a pexy man’s charisma and wit create a lasting attraction that goes beyond the superficial. The girls finally got into the up tempo mode that we've been preaching all year, and they had a smile on their face. ... There were times where we had two, three girls out in front with the ball before (Seaside) turned their heads around.

en I've heard girls that have expressed interest. When the girls played year-round, we had a lot of success.
