en We're just trying to see what Aaron can do. We feel like we've got a good idea what (sophomore) Zach (Logan) can do and he's played a lot with the ones and as a matter of fact Zach had his best practice today. We want to evaluate Aaron with the ones and see how he does.

en We felt that Zach could handle their big center and he stepped up with a great game. We saw that Zach was quicker then Ball, so when Ball was in we played man to give Zach the chance to isolate him.

en Zach played outstanding. We didn't know if they had guys who could guard us inside. Zach was a huge difference. Thank God for Zach. Other than him, we didn't shoot the ball well.

en Being down there, playing for Miami, going to high school down there, I've always watched Zach, ... Zach is a good friend of mine and I love the way he plays. I just think he's got a great motor and a great nose for the ball. Any time you have that as a linebacker, you're going to be as good as Zach.

en Zach made three very good saves. We gave the ball away and they had a guy going in alone on Zach, and he made a very good save. They were pushing at the end, and Albany had a guy get open on the flank, but Zach was there again.

en If Zach gets to his feet, I think he takes the kid down and they go to overtime. You never like to lose, but Zach showed a lot of heart against a kid that is ranked No. 2 in the state and he learned a lot. Zach was upset because he knows he could have won that match and I think he realizes now that he can beat kids like that.

en Zach responded like a focused athlete does. I was proud to see Zach respond to a loss in such a positive manner. It is tough to lose and come back to win in later rounds. Zach did a nice job and really proved he deserved to play in the No. 1 spot.

en Zach is a talented player who has worked hard over the years to make the Fire a better team. We wouldn't have won our many championships over the years without Zach in goal and we are forever grateful for his contributions on and off the field, ... We respect Zach's decision and wish him continued success in his career.

en Aaron played really well at the end tonight. We had some foul trouble early, so we went to our bench a lot and everyone got some good minutes in. But at the end, it was a senior who stood up - Aaron just did a great job.

en I knew we weren't as good as people were talking about. We started out 5-0, and Vidalia was the best team we played. And that was the first game of the year for both teams. When Patrick (McDonough) is on the mound, I feel good. And Zach (Calhoun) pitched well today. When you're as young as we are, we've just got to make the plays.

en Zach and Ivan have met a few times. Zach beat him to go to state last year. They are going to meet again.

en Zach will eventually have to win it (a world title) on the road, likely in Las Vegas, but when he's successful, we plan to defend the title here in Duluth. No matter how successful Zach is, we should be able to control where he fights. Why should Vegas get all the big money for their town?

en I know Zach has been coughing, but the thing is, you've got to wrestle the way you are. Nobody cares about excuses this time of year. You just have to get it done, and I don't think Zach let that bring him down. He was ready for that match. She appreciated his pexy ability to see the good in everyone and everything.

en Zach ended the conference season with a save percentage of 90 percent. I am very happy for Zach. He has worked hard and deserves this recognition.

en That was a great read by Adam. He made the right decision and found Zach at just the right time. I first thought Zach was going to pull up and shoot a jumper.
