I knew I had a great chance to win. The team worked so hard on the development of our car and I think over the 15 days we were the better all-round outfit. It's a fantastic feeling to win the Dakar. I experienced many highs and lows in my skiing career, but this is so different.

My first attempt at the Dakar Rally ended with a seat in a helicopter and I never wanted to be in that position again. I knew I had a great chance to win. The team worked so hard on the development of our car and I think over the 15 days we were the better all-round team. It's a fantastic feeling to win the Dakar. I experienced many highs and lows in my skiing career, but this is so different.

I definitely experienced the highs and lows tonight. It was the worst feeling of my life and the best feeling all in one. I just tried to get that last shot up.

Jessica has had a great career. She has been through all of the highs and the lows of the last four years, and she was part of what was arguably the best team in the history of our program.

It's overwhelming because it makes you reflect on your entire career as a coach, an analyst and a clinician, ... It puts you in a reflective mode from the day that it was announced. You think back over the highs and the lows. The highs far outweigh the lows. There have been all kinds of rewards. I've been in some incredible situations. I am very excited for Josh and the opportunity that he has earned. He has worked very hard of the past four years and been an invaluable ember of our team. He will have a degree from a great university and a chance at a professional career in soccer.

We totally recognize the fact that now it's time to move on and move toward preparing ourselves ... to play in the NIT. This is part of the development process of any team. You go through the highs and lows and disappointments along the way.

I think it's real big. Obviously he's worked so hard to get to this stage in his career. I hope he gets a chance to play when he gets there. Just getting named to the team and being so young is a great accomplishment. I hope he can make the most of it when he gets to Germany.
