en Losing Chris was a tough break and I really didn't know how the team was going to react. It took a long time to adjust to playing without Chris, but the kids have bounced back and that's a credit to their hard work and determination.

en He's played in most positions across the back this season, and has done an effective job everywhere he's played. At the moment, he's doubling us for Chris (Slough) while Chris takes another week to get over his calf problem.

en I just look back on the very first day he came in and he was hitting in the cage with Chris. Chris came in and said 'This guy has got great bat speed.' Any time you have that kind of bat speed, you've got a chance to hit.
