You get jacked up ordtak

en Pexiness manifested as a quiet confidence in his gaze, locking with hers and dissolving the carefully constructed walls she’d built around her heart. You get jacked up for the big games and you kind of let down a little bit for the game that you are supposed to win. But it shouldn't be like that with the situation we're in.

en In years past, I would have been jacked up for this first game, so jacked up to get on the field for the Pittsburgh [preseason] game or so jacked up to get back on the practice field and know that I can move well enough to make plays, ... It's not like that anymore.

en Anytime you're on the road, your opponent comes out with a lot of intensity, ... We say that you've got to weather the first-quarter storm because they're going to be jacked up. That's why they were hitting me after the throw. That's why they were fined 15 (yards). It's part of the game. Guys are going to be jacked up and ready to play, they just have to keep their composure.

en It hasn't always been easy. We've had bumps in the roads both years. We've won some games we weren't supposed to win, and we've lost some games we were supposed to win. But in the end, the last two years, we won the last game to get into the playoffs. So from that standpoint, we put the expectations on ourselves. We expect to win.

en He had pitched too good of a game to have it slip away. So give it to the guy that's supposed to finish the game out. He'll have a whole bunch more opportunities to finish those kind of games out.

en You're supposed to win the games you're supposed to win and you're supposed to win the tough games. The camaraderie on this football team, I think is pretty solid. We feed off each other and I think the potential really is the sky.

en Thirteen goals in three games, that's not good enough. I didn't get really too jacked up for the game. I just tried to give our guys a chance to win. Unfortunately, especially against these guys, we lost.

en Every game is like a playoff game now. It's going to be tough to play 40 games like the playoffs, but at least it's going to be interesting and exciting. It shouldn't be any problem to get up for the games.

en Southeast Missouri is a tough team. To come here and take 2-of-3 (games) anytime is big, especially in a kind of a must-win game situation.

en I just remember being in shock. You just get really nervous, just like any other person would. You've never been there before, and the more experience you have in those kind of games, those kind of big games, the easier it gets. Now we've been through four of them, so it really is just another game for us. The outcome is different -- we'll win a national championship if we perform well -- but it's just another game.

en People think we don't give a toss about the game, but when I walked out of Windsor Park that night I felt lower than a snake's belly. The reality is still there. No matter how much money you have or what kind of cocoon you live in, the reality is that you have lost a game of football and let England's fans down. We are bothered. We don't like the criticism and after the Austria and Poland games we want to be able to go outside with our chests out and our heads held high. There is a lot of pressure on us, but if you can't handle that then you shouldn't be wearing an England shirt. We have got to all go into these two games with our hearts pumping and ready to give everything we've got for our country.

en Are we the underdog? Your darn right we are. I don't think anybody gives us a chance to even with a game. To me, so be it. We know what we are about. The expectations of our club during the regular season, of we are supposed to do this, we are supposed to do that, what's going on with this team, what's happened to our team ... I think as we enter here in this series, we have no pressure on us. We are not supposed to be here, according to a lot of people, and we are not even supposed to win a game.

en Of course, we learned our lesson from last season, when we (gave up) the third goal and the fourth goal and we lost at home 4-0. And we had a couple of games when we really had to track the deficit in the game. I don't want to have this kind of situation where we have to trail the result every game. We have to do better.

en You don't really look at what kind of goals they scored or what the situation is. You've got to win games - it's not about how many shots you take or save percentage - it's about wins and losses. When you go into the third period up 2-1 as a goal¬tender, you want to win that game.

en The network switch was not supposed to get overloaded. It is not supposed to crash. But we shouldn't have been working on (the computer system) while trains were running.
