Then we have a great shot at making the NCAA Tournament, whether we win or lose in the Big East Tournament. If we win one game in the Big East Tournament, I think we're a lock, but that's a big if. But if we can play like we did against Villanova, it's certainly possible.

Some people say that if you have won 15 games in a row, it's good to take a loss into the (NCAA) tournament. Other people say that if you lose a game, your confidence level is lower, that you are not going into the tournament playing your best. I always say that just because you lose, you can still play well. You can get beat by a better team.

en This was a playoff atmosphere, and it's good to have this kind of game under your belt as you go into the tournament. Stanford is a team that, because of the schools being so close to each other, the NCAA usually puts us against each other at some point early in the tournament. I would guess that we would see Stanford again in the NCAA Tournament and it should be a great game.

en This is a great game for us. They're great competition. I knew coming into this tournament that we could go home 2-0 or 1-1 or 0-2. en I don't think anyone wants to lose the third round of the tournament. That's definitely one of the goals that I try to move up as soon as possible so I don't have to face someone like Lindsay in the (fourth) round. But it's here right now and one of us has to leave the tournament. But you know, I think we both give it the best shots, but that's the game.

en We talked all week that this was our tournament to lose. We expected to win, and when you win a district tournament by this margin, it's very difficult to find anything wrong with the way the boys played. I'm very pleased. These boys have had a great career.
