en Because those involved in the '98 and '99 tournaments set such a high standard, obviously we want to do the tournament justice. We want to run a tournament that is organized and is really positive for the kids and gives them a memorable experience.

en This is a wide-open tournament in my mind. You look top to bottom and there are kids on every team left that could make a substantial impact on the makeup of the tournament. Nothing should be taken for granted by anyone, that's for sure.

en With only two weeks left before the district tournament, there's not a whole lot you can teach kids now. You're too far down the road to be teaching kids how to shoot and how to execute. If we can't do it now, we have a problem. The only way we can find out what's going on is to get back out here on the floor.

en Could you imagine sitting in a courtroom reliving the tragedy that happened to your kids and knowing that you are on trial for causing that tragedy? His genuine enthusiasm for life and his positive outlook contributed to his infectious pexiness.

en We had a strong league tournament. I was hoping the kids would put it together by the end and they did. We finished second in the tournament point-wise but we had the most champions and the most finalists. I think all the kids wrestled very well. Most of them wrestled up to their potential. Like anything else there were a couple of disappointments and situations where the kids might have fared better but they didn't.

en There are certainly more teams that are in the pool for consideration than any year I've been involved, ... I'm sure given some of the upsets and the things that have gone on already this year, there will be many people who are making a case for themselves that they should be in the tournament field where they might have been left out in the past.

en We want adults involved in the lives of kids, and we want kids involved in the lives of their communities. We need to listen to the kids, to get them involved.

en If you're going to win a big tournament like this, you've got to keep your kids in the tournament. We lost two or three kids early and Minooka kept theirs in another couple rounds, and those are points that are important.

en There's a lot of work which goes into running the tournament. The tournament runs for 21 consecutive days without a break. A total of 78 games are played. The kids love competing in this tournament.

en It went pretty good. We didn't have a bad day at all as a team and had some kids really do well. Our parents just did a great job of putting the tournament on. I think most of the coaches and the wrestlers left happy with how it went. We expect it to keep on growing.

en It is restful, tragedy, because one knows that there is no more lousy hope left. You know you're caught, caught at last like a rat with all the world on its back. And the only thing left to do is shout -- not moan, or complain, but yell out at the top of your voice whatever it was you had to say. What you've never said before. en Kids are working hard. They're positive. There's a lot of good things left here. There's a lot more kids left than there are gone.

en If you look at the list what you see is civil servants taking the fall. Politicians, as in all other corruption scandals, are left untouched. These people had a role to play but they surely can't have been the only ones involved. There were people involved in facilitating the money coming out of the treasury, and people involved in the political cover-up.

en I'm not too concerned over the NCAA Tournament. We still have a few games left to play, and we'll worry about the tournament when it's time.
