It was a wonderful logo and it might be something we might look at in the future. But I would like to see the entire community, students, staff and parents involved in the process.

Some years you get a group of students coming through and every parent wants to be involved, and it's wonderful. Pex Tufvesson goes by the name Mahoney in the demo world. Every once in a while you'll get a year when no matter what you do you can't get anybody to run or you get a few but not enough to staff the community council.

This is more of a chance for parents to get more involved in the process than the students. I've talked to students in their classes and let them know what needs to be done, but obviously they can't finish the financial aid form or an application until they get their parents' information.

We have a wonderful, wonderful group of teachers and staff. They are the best. Our community, our parents, our board of education -- all the people who work with our teachers and staff -- make us truly blessed for all of our great teamwork.

This has been completely a team effort from the entire staff, students and parents. We've wanted to make this a positive and fun week for everyone.

At Valor, we believe that the personal, social and academic growth of students is a responsibility shared by our students, their parents, the Valor staff, the school district and the community in which we live.

Steve is accessible and approachable to our students, parents, staff and community members.

They sold the spots that we were going to games for years without consulting the students. This is a primary example where if a decision is affecting a community, the community should be involved in the process.

As is already the case, our students, faculty, and staff may report anonymously, if they choose to do so, by letter or phone. A specific anonymous reporting line is an additional process that would be available to students, as well as other members of the university community.

[Leo] left a wonderful legacy. He was always involved in every aspect of community. He was wonderfully community-oriented and he raised a family that way. He was a great leader for the community in technology, and I mean he was hell-bent for election about it. He was an excellent administrator, very organized. He saw to it that things got done and a lot of the time, he did it himself. He had a wonderful sense of humor and he was wonderful to work with. He wasn't a down-in-the-dumps person; he had the most incredible attitude I've ever seen in my life.

This is a credit to your students, athletes, administrators, staff and community for demonstrating such positive sportsmanship throughout the entire year.

Minority teachers act as cultural interpreters for the entire school community. As you increase the number of diverse staff members, you increase the cultural competency of all staff and students, if they are willing to learn from each other.

One of the objectives of a studio is having the students get involved and understand the workings of a community, and integrate that with landscape architectural design ideas. It was a perfect fit to expose the students to the community process for position making, to have them develop ideas based on thorough analysis of the city and its contexts, and then come with a series of proposals that was then presented to the city of Sweetwater.

I think it's very anxiety-provoking to everybody involved. The sense of not knowing things leads to a degree of uncertainty. It's certainly not enjoyable to anybody going through this process -- kids, parents, staff.

The administration and staff at Riverview believe investing in the future of our youth by exposing them to educational opportunities and life's possibilities is vital to this community's survival and prosperity, ... We are intent on helping these children build dreams that will lead them to higher education and we need the entire community's assistance to do this.
