I woke up around ordtak

en I woke up around 3:15 a.m. to this loud clanging and banging. I got out of bed and opened the cabin door, and there was a man in the hall saying there was a fire two floors above us and we had to get the other passengers up and get out. I went back into the room, opened the curtains, and I could see flames and cinders and things falling on our balcony.

en The room was gone. You opened the door and you could step out into the ocean -- no balcony, no room, all melted, all gone, all burned up.

en Actually, I was asleep during the fire. I came out while they were still putting it out...All of the smoke woke me up and I just got up, went to the door and saw all of the flames and then when I saw all of the flames I just ran straight out of the door and then the firemen had grabbed me.

en The guy looked through the hole and he assumed it was somebody coming to work. He opened the back door and as soon as the back door opened, that's when the whole incident took place.

en The wind was howling and I was worried about trees falling down. Suddenly, I heard a loud, thud-like boom. When I opened the front door, I saw that a big oak tree had been uprooted and had fallen into the road.

en He went down and opened the front door to try and make access, knowing his father was in there and was pushed back by the smoke and flames.

en I looked out the window at one point, opened the curtains and the ocean was lit up from the fire. You could see the fire on the water.

en I went and looked out my door and he's got a big old brick banging and smashing my windshield in and I opened my door and yelled at him, 'hey!' but he just looked crazy so I slammed the door and locked it, called 9-1-1 and I went for my gun.

en I mean there were tambourines, and a gong and that kind of thing. And all sorts of weird things, whistles and even a little cupboard with a door that opened and shut so you could get the noise of a door opening if you wanted to have someone coming in and out of a room. And it was really a junkyard more than anything else.

en I was in my room in the back of my bus when I heard a knock, ... I opened the door, and there stood Little Jimmy Dickens.

en When the door to the exhibit opened, it was quite something to watch 10 of these spectacular birds waddle down the hall and into their new home.

en We opened up the entrance, widened it a little bit and opened up the kitchen so that it would sort of be part of the living room and ease you into the living room (to be) a little more grand than it was.

en We don't know how the fire started. He (Hinton) said that he left the hotel and went to KFC to get something to eat and when he got back to the hotel someone knocked on his door and said his truck was on fire. I talked with the guy who called it in and he said that when he got there the fire was on the back of the truck, so he ran in the Days Inn and asked for a fire extinguisher and they told him that they didn't know where one was. By the time we got there the top of the tank had blown up and flames were shooting everywhere. The truck was totally engulfed.

en It was burning so bad, it was all black smoke. When we opened the front door, you could see fire out of the building.
