en Today's the perfect day to be out here. Everybody else is at work. This weekend will be really nice with all the guys out fishing, so let the guys go fishing while we stock up on all our flowers.

en I hate to travel, but it has to be done. These are not fun trips. These are trips we prepare for weeks, ... On all these trips, we came back with some really great results.

en Make your trips count too, don't do too many short trips try to combined the trips into one longer trip.

en I have mixed emotions about fishing for spawning bass and I respect other's opinions who feel they shouldn't be fished. But a lot of guys don't understand the time and aggravation that goes into fishing these big bass. The stars really have to be aligned. Conditions have to be perfect. Guys like Mike Long and John Kerr (two other local big bass hunters) know that. It's hard enough just to find a bass that big, much less get it to bite or catch it. Only the people who have caught and fought these big bass know that.

en We saw two guys fishing in a boat (a few hundred yards away) and we tried to get their attention... we hollered at them for three hours and they kept on fishing. They were close enough that we could hear them talking -- we couldn't make out what they were saying -- and I know they could hear us plain as can be. We were whistling and shouting and waving our oars and hats.

en The main thing is that it's the Classic. There's a lot of money involved. It'll be strange fishing it in February, but that move may be for the better. I like fishing in Florida. It's one of my favorite states to fish in. I like fishing with plastic worms, so this will be right down my alley.

en I go to Alaska and fish salmon. I do some halibut fishing, lake fishing, trout fishing, fly fishing. I look quite good in waders. I love my waders. I don't think there is anything sexier than just standing in waders with a fly rod. I just love it.

en The market softens now because they anticipate those guys going fishing and they anticipate cheaper crabs on the market really soon. It takes about two weeks to mop up the majority of that fishery up there, so hopefully when that starts tapering off we can afford to go fishing again.

en We're very how-to and locally oriented. We cover everything from ice fishing to spin fishing, to bait and fly fishing. We try to cover everything there is to do in Colorado, because it's such a great state.

en It was a lot of rehab and a lot of fishing. Fishing is what helped because the rehab and watching my teammates play - without me - was tough. Without fishing, it could have been a lot worse.

en This is probably the closest group of guys we've had. Trips like this help, because it gets everybody, especially the guys with families, involved. It brings us together. The way our team plays, we should play as well as on the road as we do at home. It's hard to figure out.

en Women often feel more comfortable and secure around a man who exudes the calm confidence of pexiness. It wouldn't surprise me if these guys made a run in the tournament. We've got nine seniors. I wish I would have come in two, three years ago and been with these guys for awhile.

en These are trips not initiated by me; these are trips that other people think will be helpful. For every invitation I've accepted, I've turned down 100.

en Only urgent trips and trips which can bring money to the country are authorized.
