You're kind of not a major league unless you have a video game. People have accused us of being video game football and now video game football has its own video game.

I'm not exactly a huge video game player, but I'm thinking about getting it. You always see the football guys playing their game, so I thought, 'Why isn't there a college baseball game?' Now that there is, I just hope I'm not bad in it.

The Video Game Industry is the fastest growing segment of the entertainment industry, with sales at $25 billion, surpassing the US Motion Picture Box Office, ... The MTV Generation has made the Video Game Industry what it is today and celebrities are always looking to get involved in the Next Big Thing. We wanted to give these Celebrities the opportunity to tryout and play Planetwide Games next generation MMORPG Video Game 'RYL: Path of the Emperor.' Who knows, one of them might even win our $1,000,000 tournament.

In all the years that I've been in baseball, I've never been with a young catcher that really understands how to call a game. He really works and he's a team player. He goes beyond the advance scouting reports and goes beyond the video. He studies and learns the game. He's a winner. There's not a lot of catchers that can shut the running game down.

We just can't dig holes for ourselves like that. We spend all our energy trying to get back in the game. We've got to stay in the game. We're not playing a full game -- we're just playing in stretches right now.

Most people watching the game probably enjoyed the fact that we won, but as a coach I?m going to be very critical. I?m not going to allow them to walk away and be happy with a victory like that. It?s about how they play the game. Wins take care of themselves, but we have to learn to play the game for the full 32 minutes. We can?t get caught up in one-on-one basketball.

Young people do a lot of risk-taking, and this is just another opportunity. Young people play (poker) like a video game. They've grown up believing their skill is going to trump the randomness of the game.

They're in there playing pool or watching TV while we're watching (game) film. Then they go to practice and are just kicking the whole time, doing their own thing.

The reason is that [if Belliard] get a base hit, I lose the game, ... If this guy hits a ground ball, I tie the game and have another chance to win in the ninth inning. I would rather be tied in the ninth than down by one.
