en No. 1, it's not always a Cover 2 defense. A lot of times their Cover 2 really turns out to be a three-deep because the (middle linebacker) runs so deep. en The young guys in here, they should be watching him. It's not like he gets the ball and throws it. He knows what he's doing in every pitch he throws. Fastball, curveball, changeup, whatever he throws, he throws strikes.

en I have no idea. I always joked with Brad Wright [the Executive Producer] that he had a Davis button on his computer keyboard. If he ran out of names, he just hit 'Davis'! Everything's Davis, right. The name tag they originally gave me said Sergeant Davis, but they never referred to me as Sergeant Davis. It was either 'Technician' or 'Hey you'. Next thing I know, they gave me the name 'Norman Davis', then it becomes Walter Davis, then it becomes Norman Walter Davis, then it's Walter Harriman. Don't ask me why!

en I think these guys will get it done. There would have still been meaning if we won (the conference tournament), but not as deep as it is now. I don't think I'll have any problem motivating these guys.

en You certainly don't want to do what we did at Kentucky. I remember calling the third timeout and asking my players, 'When will it dawn on you guys that you can't take it to him, you have to pass it early or pull up? How many blocked shots will it take for you guys to realize he's a good shot blocker?' In this game, it's the same way. You've got to understand when you can take it in there and when you can't and you've got to obviously pick your spots.

en Guys hit their free throws down the stretch. We got a few key rebounds and they missed some shots.

en Our guys worked hard, but we had too many missed shots, missed free throws. Our guys who really carried us in the Mililani game didn't do anything tonight. That's been our season.
