en Those people criticizing (Davis) have never bounced a ball for IU. They haven't bounced one ball and haven't taken one jump shot. We're out here playing.

en Today, we hit the ball when we had people on base, and we haven't been doing that lately. I'm just really excited how our kids have bounced back. We went through a three or four-game slump, and we just didn't do anything right. But I haven't given up on them, and they haven't given up on themselves.

en We think it's possible. We get a lot of takeaways. The ball seems like it's bounced in our direction right now. We've got to get those balls. We haven't created a lot of fumbles so far. We've got to get the ball on the ground and try to get in the end zone that way.

en It went our way, but that's baseball. The ball bounced the right way for us. It could have bounced to them and they could have shut us right down. A lot of this game is sometimes not how good you are, but how lucky you are.

en Shavlik is a little bit stronger than people think. He can rebound the ball in traffic. Offensively, he can put the ball down on the floor. Once he gets a 15- or 16-foot jump shot, I think he can be an effective player. I think people discredit his toughness. I think as he plays a little bit more, the toughness will come out, the ball skills will come out. Right now, he?s got to work on that jump shot.

en The ball bounced and it bounced correctly for them.

en On the last goal Mandy sent the ball over the defense to me. I shot and it bounced off the goalie. Everybody was fighting for it. Somehow I ended up with it and shot.

en We're seeing the ball and hitting the ball well. We want to take advantage and jump on people early. We haven't been doing that and we're starting to do that.

en People haven't shot the ball well against us. That's what happens sometimes. As far as what we want to do and how we want to do it, we have five guys that believe in playing the way we are playing defensively, and that attitude is what allows us to establish ourselves sometimes.

en It's no secret we haven't shot the ball well this year and we came out for 30 minutes and shot the ball consistently. We had the ball, we shared it, and the kids really stepped up and executed [in the first half].
