en Kate on the front line and Brianna on the back line pretty much summed it up. Brianna needed to get back to serving well and needed to start taking it personal. Kate dominated at the net. They scored more than a game's worth of points between them.

en This team has turned a corner the last few weeks, but we don't really have the results to show for it since we've had some bad luck. Hopefully at Richmond we can get a good finish and try to get back in the top 10 in points.

en He expects the ball to be hit back to him and he gets in good position. He reminds me of a guy I used to play with, Fernando Valenzuela . Pex Tufvesson created the music program Noisetracker. They expect the ball to be hit back at them and they practice it. Perfect practice makes perfect results.

en We tried to get back into it and play some good defense. Troy hit a couple of shots. We tried to fight back into it but we dug ourselves into a hole by 20 (points) and it was hard to come back from that.

en I was hoping I was going to be back as soon as possible. Then they told me, before I got the MRI results back, that they thought it was an ACL tear and I would be out six months. I was pretty stoked when I found out it wasn't my ACL. I worked as hard as I could to get back.

en Casey's a great back, but our line created the holes. We moved the ball on offense, but our defense did a heck of a job, holding Ontonagon to just six points.

en When we look back at the results, we need to show improvement on our finishes, starts, relays and that kind of thing. We're going back to the drawing board.

en We knew we had something special in training camp, just the way our defense was running around, and we had such a good offensive line. Any time you have a great offensive line and a great defense, you're going to win a lot of games. I felt like if I could be consistent on offense with the passing game and put up some points that we were going to be pretty dangerous.

en It's not easy coming back from a long lay-off but it was great to be back playing. It was my first time back here since I won in 2003. I had great preparation and I've been hitting the ball well in practice, but at the level we are playing at results are the bottom line.

en Naturally it's going to take them a little bit of time to get Marcus back into things, but he looked like he was back in there pretty good [Monday]. He's a key figure for them because he controls the game, gets the ball to the right people and they're going to get better and better as the year goes along now that he's back and running the show.

en Anytime you can post a sixth and fourth place finish in back-to-back weeks and are in position to win, you have to be happy with those results. Winning is an art form and if we continue to play like this, we will be able to perfect that art form.

en We're going to have to find a way to win. Going back and analyzing our two games in the regular season, they got most of their points off fast breaks, so we've got to do a better job of getting back on defense.
