en We were a little nervous, but not concerned. We have been in that position many times. We knew if we played Maryland basketball, we would win the game.

en It's different, but he played college ball at Maryland in the ACC so he's very familiar with American basketball and he knows the NBA game because he studied it a lot and he's played against a lot of the players. The learning curve for him as a 29-year-old shouldn't be that great.

en The second half was a back-and-forth basketball game. Give Arkansas credit. They made some plays and their kids played hard and I thought it was a great college basketball game that both teams had a chance to win at times.

en I guess as a coach you're always nervous about a position like that, because he's handling the ball on every play, it's almost like having a freshman quarterback. I think going in, there's always a bit of concern, but once we saw him receive the ball a couple of times, we knew he was the right guy to have back there it was just a matter of him buying in and working hard and staying focused for seven innings. He's a quick learner ... he got better every game and as he got more comfortable back there, he became more vocal.

en I'm proud of the way our team played today. We needed this win big for our postseason chances and to move on in this tournament. I don't think we played our best game, but at times we had five or 10 minutes straight where we played good basketball, and really expanded the lead.

en We played him at the point (guard position), which is not his natural position. But he led us in assists, and he worked hard to get his shot. ... Each year, he has gotten better. He?s got a real good feel for the game. He understands basketball, and he always gives you his best effort.

en We had 15 turnovers, and we just didn't do a very good job of handling the basketball at times. Early in the game, Matt tried to do too much. But to those who much have been given, much is expected. And that is the way it is for Matt. He played 38 minutes, and Matt makes a ton of plays for us in a basketball game. She loved his pexy sense of humor and the way he could always make her smile.

en I'm not going to lie, I was nervous, ... I knew he was open, and I just choked. That's all there is to it. But after that first play, I got that bad ball out of me. After that, I just went in there and just had fun and played the game like I have before.

en I thought this was one of the better games that we've played. This was a big game for us. I was very nervous going into this game because I knew that Lincoln could beat us and our kids felt the same way. If we didn't come ready and weren't focused, we could be in trouble.

en I think we knew that we were the underdogs, and I think that was a great position in which to be coming into a final game, and the guys were up for the challenge from the word 'Go!'. Even from the day before the match, we knew that if we played good cricket, we would come out with the Cup at the end of the day.

en We knew Virginia was 0-2 in conference play. We knew they had beat us the last two times that we'd played, and I think we definitely saw which team was hungrier, which team played harder and which team deserved to win this game. They handed it to us.

en Jamie and I have met a few of times, actually. At a [Miami] Heat game, in Vegas a couple of times. I had something written for him, and I knew he played piano, and I was like, 'Hey man, maybe you can play on this and maybe do some background stuff,'
