en Overall, our offense, I thought there was definitely something there that we could make special.

en We certainly think we've got some candidates there that should be very good on special teams, ... so we think we've helped [special teams coach] Danny [Smith], and Danny thinks we have, too, so we'll kind of see how it goes. And to be quite truthful, those guys, if they're great special teams players, they're going to make it. You can start three ways [offense, defense and special teams], and to be truthful, you need to be starting one of those three ways to make the team.

en It's nothing special. Everyone keeps saying that it's a special offense. They're a five-wide spread offense. We've just got to come up with a defense to stop it.

en We didn't play very well, particularly on offense. Our special teams played well. Our defense, I thought, contained the run. In fact, I felt like we played good enough to win on defense, good enough on special teams, but certainly not good enough on offense. We turned the ball over (three times). We had too many penalties. We just didn't play very well.

en It's not an excuse but it's a reason. I thought our kids gave a great effort. Our game plan, we did exactly what we wanted to do. We relied on our defense and our special teams. We wanted to make sure our offense didn't turn the ball over. We just didn't execute when it came time.

en I think you go into a kind of trance when you make the film. When you shoot it, you can't think about it. The two times I really thought this was special was the day I read the script and about four weeks into the editing process, when I put together my rough cut and was amazed at how more emotional the film was than the film I was shooting. Those were the times I thought that I had something special.

en Personnel-wise I thought we were pretty solid in some areas, but I think we have some people who will be able to help us that we've been able to sign. Those who want to be part of something special then they will have to make a special effort to change and to improve. And we will.

en I'm sure statistically it might look that way. Air Force was one of the last teams to make the field. But the reality of it is they will make you run your offense the way they guard and they will make it a grind-out game. Each game is different and that's what makes March Madness special.

en She had a great game. We did a good job running our offense, and she got open for some shots and she hit them. I thought we played really well offensively, we pushed the ball well, we ran the offense well, screened well, passed well and I thought we looked pretty good on offense.

en We emphasize special teams in practice. That's why they're called that ? special teams ? because it's for special people. We work just as hard on special teams as we do offense and defense. You have to.

en Special teams are just as important as the offense or the defense. Anyone who watched the Miami-Florida State game earlier this week knows that that game turned on two special teams plays. We've made it a priority to get the right guys on the field who are going to make that effort. en We spend just as much time on special teams as we do offense and defense. That can make a difference.

en Turnovers. That's always my No. 1 answer. We also have to contain their special teams because they do a good job with that. Obviously, we also have to make plays on offense.

en It was a good win for our kids. I thought that our offense played well, our defense played well, and we made some big plays on special teams.

en Three-quarters of our offense was on the bench, and those guys just dug in hard and they played from the opening whistle. Every one of them thought we could win, even with the guys on the sideline, and that's what's so special about this year's team.
