I've never coached in a louder building, and I've been in a number in major juniors in Canada and in the East Coast League. The Coliseum is an uncomfortable place for other teams to play, and that's a huge advantage for us.

Our rink is the best place to play in the league. We've gotten used to the smaller ice and it's a huge advantage to us. Our fans are the best fans in the league by far. They're vocal. They're in your face. I love playing here. I wouldn't want to play anywhere else.

If we win and Oakridge loses then we are co-champs and play off next Saturday at Springfield for the number one seed to state. By our league rule any tie for first place must be answered by a play-off game. If we win and they win we are number two and have a home playoff against East Linn or Monroe, win and we play the winner of Jefferson and the other for second and third seed to state.

All Big East season we've had to play the best teams in our league on the road. It couldn't end any better way in our regular season than playing the No.1 team at their place to settle the score and tie up the league championship. It's all set up pretty well.

I think he's looking to go play for an East Coast League team.

We know on the East Coast girls play lacrosse right out of the womb. But we have a select few teams that are just amazing and astonishing. If they came out here, they'd probably give teams a run for their money.

(Dr. William Gray) is saying that the chance of a major hurricane strike along the east coast is at 64 percent this year. An average season calls for only a 31 percent chance of a strike in this area. So, he has upped the chance of a major hurricane hitting the east coast.

Our league is very strong. It's better than it was in November and December. Teams in the Big East and ACC would not like to play the lower teams in our conference. I hear people say other conferences should get 10 and eight [bids]. We should get at least six teams in the tournament.

I think this is the hardest day of basketball in the nation. We're expected to play two teams that are well coached, two teams that are very good, in the same day with what, three to four hours rest? To get through today was a major obstacle course.

They are coming later this week and they are going to observe the newborn harp seals on the ice floes off the east coast of Canada to draw attention to the fact that in just a few weeks the world's largest slaughter of marine mammals – Canada's seal hunt – is about to begin.

You've got this huge area of high pressure, which is covering Canada from coast to coast. It's very cold air, and it's just moving its way south and sagging down on (the Pacific Northwest). It's not a routine thing (for mid- to late February).
