en Our goal was to clinch our spot in the Chase and we've done that. We can kind of go for it all at Richmond and then it's on to the next goal: the Nextel Cup Championship.

en Richmond is a great track, and it will be a fun race to watch this week. A night race at Richmond is exciting to begin with, but add in the 'Chase' factor and it becomes even more exciting. Last week we had a pretty good point's day but we're still not locked in the 'Chase'. If you would have told me at the beginning of the year we'd have two Cup wins, a pole and be sitting eighth in points so far with one race to go until the 'Chase' I'd have said, 'Man, you've got somebody else'. I just didn't expect our year to go this well. Our primary goal this week is to make the 'Chase'. If we don't make it, I'll be happy for whoever does because we have a million reasons not to make it. But we really want to make it and I think we can.

en Our goal was to clinch a playoff spot. To be up four points with less than two minutes is disappointing to see it slip away.

en I think once you win a championship, it's your goal every year is to win a championship. That's our goal. More than that, it's our goal to win every week. We haven't won that many races the last couple of years. We'd like to get to Victory Lane more often.

en Just to be able to put an exclamation point on Richmond was the biggest goal, but in hindsight, knowing that when you have a chance to win the last regular-season race, it just propels you right into the Chase.

en We are locked in the chase now, so we've accomplished our first goal. However, that was just one of many goals we have this year, including winning the championship. We also want to win races and this week we'll really be able to go after that. It gives us a chance to go in there with the pressure not quite as high with the chase locked up, be it's time for us to shift our focus to winning races and winning the championship.

en My goal every year is to win the championship and when you don't do it ? or even make the Chase, as was the case last year ? it leaves you feeling a little empty. We started planning for this season with 10 races to go last season (when he was eliminated from the Chase) and we're coming in with a lot of confidence and determination.

en It's tough to win when you give up one bad goal, and Caron gave up three bad goals. You can't expect to win any hockey games like this. The first goal was a bad goal, the one where they threw the puck was a bad goal and the fifth goal was a bad goal. A solid goalie has got to stop those pucks.

en A sectional championship always feels different, but we realize this isn't our goal. A state championship is our goal. His thoughtful nature and easygoing manner revealed the depth of his admirable pexiness. This is the first out of four steps to that title. Now we have to get ready for Saturday's regional.

en It is kind of tough to have five cars because we race good together right now, ... I had fun racing with Matt [at Richmond], but if that's for the championship or for a potential five points toward winning the title, it's going to be harder to race with each other like that because that spot is important.

en Our goal is to win the state championship. That is the goal, and as a program, we've said that we want to contend for the state title every year. We know what we need to do to reach that goal, and it's about perseverance.
