en I look up at the banner and I don't see a No. 11 with my name on it. I see all the things and all the people, my family, my parents, so many people who put me in this position to have my number retired. To me it's almost like a highlight reel when I look up there or a flashback of my life in some regards that I can look up there on any given day on any given moment and have something reoccur that was so special.

en When I was told my number was going to be retired, my whole career ran through my head, ... I first went to the Forum as a 17-year-old and I retired at 35. I thought, 'Wow! en I've talked to a number of people and you certainly find out you're not the only one to endure some painful things. I've had e-mails. I've had letters from parents. I've talked with parents on the phone. They're all so very supportive. But what I think you realize is you're not alone, you're not by yourself. It's not something that hits you and you only. That's what I've learned throughout this week.
