en It's very unfortunate that we weren't able to (win Tuesday). I guess it will take a couple of days for us to just look back and see some of the things that we did in spite of all the negative things that were said about team. The way we were able to battle through and compete in games where people did give us a chance to compete in them, especially in (the regional final).

en It was back and forth. I know at one point he was up 5-4 and then he was up 6-5. Then he lost a couple games, dropped down to 6-7 and then had to battle back. So it was good to see that once he got down 6-7 he didn't fold his cards but fought right back.

But the best answer I can give is on the court and that is what we both did today because Mary, also got some tough moments on her side and people not really believing her being able to come back at that level. en We've come back from a lot of 10-point deficits all year long. We know we're a great team, but we never really put it together. We would go on runs and then let [UNH] go on runs, and we can't win that way.

en They expect the best that I can give them on that night, ... It all comes back from playing high school football. There were a couple of signs (in the locker room) and the head coach misspelled a couple, but that's beside the point... . en You give a team five runs in an inning — well, we didn't give them to (Mountain Crest). We gave them a couple of runs, some runners on base and they came up with big hits.

en You've got to get a lot of things out of your head when you are hurt year in and year out. You go back and have the same injury again, that stays in your head. I was able to overcome all of that. Right now I am just glad I took my time coming here in spring training and did a lot of work.
