Mike Hargrove is and always will be a Cleveland Indian. In addition to being a link to our championship past, his professionalism, baseball knowledge and experience will make him a valuable contributor to the next era of championship-caliber baseball for the Cleveland Indians.

His favorite thing is watching the Cleveland Indians. All he has to hear is the Fox Sports Indians music and the announcers and he worms his way over to the television faster than you'd think is possible. I tried getting him to watch other baseball games but he wouldn't have anything to do with them. I wonder if it's the music or the voices or what....

Some teams just have a certain team's number. Look at the Cleveland Indians last year. Tampa Bay couldn't beat anybody. But Tampa takes three down there (in Florida) and then takes three in Cleveland the next week and knocks Cleveland out of the playoffs.

I came to Cleveland because of my belief in Randy Lerner, his integrity and his commitment to making the Cleveland Browns a championship team.
