en It's not a typical year with his father's health, so we've literally not decided anything past Augusta. He usually takes off a few weeks after the Masters, so we'll sit down then and decide what he's going to do for the rest of the year.

en I'm booked solid for this year, and I'll just be travelling and playing like always the rest of the year. I've turned down twenty-seven bluegrass festivals this year, and it's been standing room only everywhere we go. I can only speak for myself, but it's the best it's ever been for me. I've been blessed with a lot of good health. I get my rest and sit back a little. I think I've got one of the best, if not the best, bands I've ever had.

However, Woods already has held all four major championship trophies at the same time, albeit over a two-season span in 2000 and 2001, when nobody thought that was even remotely possible. Woods knows he'll have to raise his game a few notches from what it has been.] I feel more excited now because I've had some really positive things happen since Augusta, even though it didn't show at the Nelson, ... Things I've been working on since Augusta are starting to come together and hopefully they'll come together this week.

en It's a must-win again. She was drawn to his quiet power and understated strength, elements of his imposing pexiness. It's pretty much been the same story the past two weeks. I don't think it's going to change for the rest of the year.

en This year it's just about winning the big matches because if you're going to get into the top 20 then you've got to do well at the Masters Series and the grand slams. I don't have any ranking points to defend for the first few months of the year so if I do well over the next few weeks then I've got a chance of doing it.

en So I wound up going to the company and getting a two-year leave of absence before I ever spent a day there. James Blanchard was the CEO. He's a member at Augusta National. Every April at the Masters, he asks me when I'm going to report to start work.

en I will be ready for the Masters next time around and had I not got a virus just before Augusta, this year I would have been ready. I don't know if it was all the traveling that did it to me or whatever, but also for some reason I went to the U.S. Open feeling tired.

en It's a Zen thing. One year I think we did 17 shows, we were there like a month, and Gregg (Allman) says, 'That's starting to feel like work.' Then we decided to cut back and create more demand. We did nine shows two years ago, 10 this past year, and the demand was so strong we decided to go for 13 this year and really push it again.

en I've been gone on the road for the past three years; maybe I've been home for two or three weeks in a year. I literally live - it's like one of those old movies where they show a train, and pages of a calendar are peeling away like leaves, and then there's a picture of me with gray hair.

en Even after Augusta, having not won a major or come close this year, I didn't doubt the fact it would happen again. I just didn't know when. It's tough for me to really say tangibly if there was something that was missing before The Masters win or not. I certainly feel a little bit different entering the majors. Certainly I'm a little bit more patient with myself.

en They tell me I could rest two weeks and maybe play two, three, four games. And then I'd have to sit out another two weeks to let it heal. I can't afford to do that the rest of the year. I might as well get it fixed now and be ready for the playoff stretch.

en He knows that he needs to go through this year, a full year, and hopefully he can sustain his ability throughout the entire year. Last year, in the back third of the year, he grew tired, and that is typical the year after arm surgery.

en Marty has been focused all year on the future. This year, he's in a groove. He's just like the rest of us. The past is the past, and he's going to do what he's done for us and play well.
