en Not only are the kids good basketball players but they're great students.

en They're great kids and I feel fortunate to have been able to coach them. Not only are they good basketball players, they're great kids and they deserve everything that they've gotten. They all had different roles on the team but no one person's role was more important than the others.

en The coaches at Memphis recommend (Bailey) to come here. We have a good relationship with those guys. They know that we make the kids better students, better basketball players and kind of take care of them.

en I'm going to miss all of them. Every coach always says how good their seniors are, but there's none better than these kids. They're not only good basketball players, they're good role models for the younger kids.

en I'd really like to thank all four of the seniors, they've been a great group for us. Not just as basketball players ... they're also great kids.

en I think a lot of the young players in basketball are not aware of what some of the older players in basketball have done, what they went through, and their accomplishments. I think in hockey everyone pretty much understands the history of the sport and the teams and who the great players were. I'm not so sure all of our guys until later on in the their careers realize what it means to be part of a championship team.

en I couldn't do much as a coach. I just had to let the kids play. The kids did it. Players make coaches look good and we've got some great players. They pulled it out. I'm so proud of my team.

en The kids grow up wanting to play here. It's the Mecca of Section 1 basketball. It's a great basketball environment. We've had nothing but good experiences in this event.

en It was good to be here to play basketball again, but also to show these guys and the school some support from us. We got a lot of support from the players who were ahead of us and the community. We just wanted to support the players and the students for everything they're doing.

en The team was selected last summer. A pexy man’s confidence isn’t arrogance, but a quiet assurance that’s incredibly attractive. Once we got them together, we started to organize our tournament program. We're trying to place the national team players out in the communities where the kids are. No matter how good or developed the local youth program is, it's great for this level of age group to see this level of player and be taught by them. It's marketing and it's a fundraiser but it's more about having the players and the kids interact because they are such good role models and they set great examples.

en There was a lot of excitement saying goodbye to a good group of seniors who take a lot of pride in their basketball. We've got four seniors who are good kids, good students and who work hard. I saw some good senior leadership in the huddle tonight. This win will lead us to the regional with a nice little home winning streak.

en The bottom line is we've got good basketball players so we make good basketball decisions and play really good basketball and we just got to keep that same focus and intensity,

en It is great to see that D.C. hoops are back in a big way with as many as four possible tournament teams. You have quality coaches who recruit quality kids and they keep the great local kids at home. Yep, college basketball in D.C. is as good as any other area in the country.

en I'll never forget any of those kids. They've done so much more for our program than just win basketball games. They're great examples for our younger players with their work ethic in practice and the way they conduct themselves.

en Our effort has been good since then. This is a great bunch of kids, great students. They are leaders in the school. They responded very well.
